Tommy Eastman

48049.jpg

UPTOWNRUMORS, in collaboration with Pinkbox NYC, is proud to announce Tommy Eastman!

Tommy has worked in social media management since 2017 and has a rich background in aesthetics and biotechnology. He is a former amateur model, photographer and editorial producer who was first exposed to media while operating his own health and biotech practice. In 2020 the doors to that firm closed and he has since devoted his time to his work in advocacy, AI Science and AI Photography.

As the major social algorithms continue to pivot away from the visceral depth of hyper realism, the true vision often gets lost in the filter. We believe art shouldn't have to compromise its clarity to satisfy a platform’s preference. What we are restricted from showing you there, we offer freely here! Unfiltered, unapologetic, and exactly as it was intended to be seen.

In one of their latest Q|A editorial specials, Tommy Eastman opens up after over twenty years of silence about what motivates his work in art and social media.

In this social media safe pre launch, Tommy discusses his upbringing in Atlantic City, New Jersey and talks about what roles his art and UPTOWNRUMORS play in his life and how it relates to hard social issues on a global stage.

Nora Lockett

Nora does not simply occupy a frame; she haunts it. Emerging from the intersection of high concept digital art and visceral, human storytelling, she represents a new vanguard of the editorial enigma. Her presence is defined by a paradoxical stillness.. a quiet intensity that suggests a narrative far deeper than the vibrant, saturated hues of her portraiture. In an era of over exposure, Nora exists in the shadows maintaining a calculated distance that feels less like a persona and more like a boundary. She is the protagonist of a story not quite ready to be told, inviting the observer to look past the glass of the lens and into the fractured, beautiful reality of a woman who has traded survival for a seat on the throne.

To witness Nora is to engage with the cost of visibility. Her aesthetic is a masterclass in sacred pain, blending the luxury of elite fashion with a raw, almost feral vulnerability that refuses to apologize for taking up space. There is no performance here for the sake of vanity; instead, there is a deliberate, quiet rebellion against the transactional nature of beauty. She carries the weight of a thousand promises, yet she stands with a composure that is entirely her own.

As she transitions from the fleeting feeds of social media to this permanent editorial residence, Nora remains a beautiful mystery: a reminder that true strength isn't found in the light, but in the courage to exist exactly where the shadows meet the neon.

There was a time I hid my eyes behind expensive glasses, afraid the world would somehow see into that window and all the things ive spent my life trying to forget.

To this day I still look down when I talk. Adapt my words to the language you use. Mimic your energy. Your style. Your mood... your emotions. Always anticipating your next words, your next line of thought.. your motivations. This is art.

Some things cant be edited out. 🏴‍☠️ #lucky #modelstatus #uptownrumors

I hold on to these awful memories because they're all that I have left of you. Everything else is gone.

They say you live on in my heart, but my heart is shattered. The pieces of you scattered across the floor reflect glimmers of the worst, and the best times. How could I ever bring myself to clean that up?

With all of my heart. 🏴‍☠️ #breakthesilence #thisisreal

Hannah 한나

Unapologetic, vibrant, and devastatingly fragile. Her aesthetic is a sensory kaleidoscope, a world where cotton candy saturation meets a haunting, doll-like grace. Hannah exists in a space where the colors are too loud and the silence too thick, yet she navigates this madness with a poetic ambivalence. She is a reminder that beauty is often a shroud for a survival instinct that runs bone deep. In her world, the bubblegum echoes aren't just a style; they are a sanctuary that represents the innocence she fought to keep in a world that tried to strip her of everythjng.

To look at Hannah is to witness a breakthrough disguised as a breakdown. There is a tragic lullaby in her gaze, a sense that she is counting the corners of her reality to make sure they still hold. She doesn't just wear the clothes or the colors; she is consumed by them, becoming a living mural of a life lived between "nothing to lose" and "giving everything." Her presence is a delicate transaction of humanity, asking the viewer to look past the sugar coated exterior and acknowledge her truths. She is a figure of profound loyalty and resilience who refuses to be defined by the walls that enclose her.

Hannah is the surreal second of realization where perfection meets madness, and the absurd makes sense!

"In her box she sits, a clostraphobic queen. She doesn't eat, doesn't sleep, she doesn't even dream..."

16032.jpg

She waits in her box, where the silence is thick, counting her thoughts till they splinter and stick. She sits in her box where the corners don't bend, counting the walls like carousel friends. The ceiling, she swears, is whispering sums, four plus four equals six, and six equals none. She hums to herself in a voice paper thin, a lullaby cracking like glass from within. Her fingernails tap out a drumline of dust, declaring the wallpaper unworthy of trust. It's tragic, perhaps, or it's merelv absurd, depending on whether you giggle or hurt.

Her laughter breaks open, a wound dressed in sound, yet falls into quiet that poisons the ground. She laughs at her laughter for laughing too loud, and bows to an audience that hides in a shroud. The walls are her witness, her madness, her shrine, so she scratches her name in the plaster and grime. She bargains with echoes that answer too late, they say that her words are a lock sealing fate. Is this madness, or mercy, or both intertwined? This box holds the secret she can't leave behind!

Her box is too pink, she decides with a siah, too dark, too bright too much lullaby. Her eyes ache from kindness, her smile feels wrong, why does the pink keep insisting, she sings along? She touches the wall and it blushes again, this bubble gum echo that's thicker than sin

She whispers I love you, but sounds insincere, as if love's going rotten from staying too near. The color consumes her, her voice, her skin. she's swallowed by the comfort she's painted within. So the light hums bubble gum song's through the air, and she's nearly convinced it's bleaching her hair.

She claps for the ceiling and applauds the floor, then thanks every hue for existing once more! And when the pink finally whispers, you're one of us too, she smiles so wide, because maybe it's true!

She swears the corners have melted, and the floor gently sways, and everything glitters in frosting and haze. She licks at the air, it tastes like delight, or madness disguised in marshmallow light. She laughs till the laughter folds in on itself, till the pink starts feeling more like her hell.

Her heartbeat's a bubble, her words, too sweet, her mind skips rope while the color repeats. It tells her she's lovely, it tells her she's safe, then paints over the silence to hide while she shakes. The pink is her safety, her prison, her friend, and promises comfort that always comes to an end!

The walls are too colorful today. she hates that

..when she isn't looking, they speak about things she said, then freeze like saints when she snaps her head.

She knows they lie, every shade of them.. pink pretending innocence, vellow pretending friends.. the whole box glows with colors she can't trust, while the ceiling and floor spin emotion and lust.

Funny.. her box is too dark to see with her eves, her truths, her screams, al her quieter lies... but the darkness hides them like debts unpaid, trading her peace for her promise to stay.

Her sanity, her dreams. her feelings inside, all given up willingly, just to survive. He dignity stripped like color to stain, hoping for breath long enough, just to be seen.

At the end of it all, she breaks down and cries, because its better to feel it then to lay down and die.. and mavbe right now, iust for today, she can stand up and be whole, and not run away.

Her mural begins with a flourish, then stops, a rainbow cut short in embarrassing drops. The wall looks amused, with a smirk in its stone, mocking the artist who can't make it known.

She rattles the can, empty and thin, a hollow confession of nothing within Her thoughts are still burning, her hands want to speak, but the paint won't arrive, the can sprung a leak!

She sighs like a queen, stripped of her crown, then kicks the dead can as it rattles around. The can rolls aside, with a clatter it sneers, a crown for a failure, a drumbeat of fear. And so she sits quiet, with nothing to do, just waiting, still waiting, in her box like she knew.
